Asian American Business Roundtable Awarded the DOT Transportation Equity Act Model (TEAM) Project Washington, DC – AABR was awarded a 12 months DOT competitive, cooperative agreement to assist in the mid-Atlantic region implementation of the DOT Transportation Equity Act Model (TEAM), which is designed to assist DBEs in the acquisition of business opportunities on DOT mega-project contracts. While there is an ultimate interest in supporting DBEs in all technical categories, please be informed that the principal focus of this AABR contract effort is construction related DBEs. AABR is required to focus on DBEs located in the Mid-Atlantic region, which include Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. The AABR principal TEAM project requirements are the mega-construction projects of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and similar projects with WMATA, and the FHWA.
